Do Celebrants have a Travel Bubble?

Do celebrants have a travel bubble?

Is a Celebrant restricted to officiating / working in the area that they live in?

The answer is heck no! Celebrants who are authorised by the Attorney General in Australia can travel interstate and intrastate to perform Weddings, Celebrations of Life (funerals) Namings and Renewal of Vows.

Thankfully we can undertake a service wherever our clients want us to be, without restriction of borders. The only thing that has stopped us in 2020 and 2021 is COVID?

You will see from my web page that I conduct ceremonies mainly within Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and even on the cruise ship Pacific Dawn.

When couples have asked me to marry them outside of my local area and would I be prepared to travel, the answer has been a resounding “YES”.

Where have I been you might ask? Across to Stradbroke Island, up to Townsville, Town of 1770, out west to Laidley and Adora Downs at Mt. Tyson, across the border to NSW to Pottsville, Midginbil Hill Farm at Uki and a seaside wedding at Coffs Harbour and slap bang in the middle of Sydney below the Angel Place Birdcages to a trip to Melbourne in the beautiful gardens of Werribee Hotel.

I’ve also been very honoured to conduct Celebrations of Life and Memorial Services in Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane. I have a Melbourne wedding in 2021 and 2022 has me back in Townsville for a couple who live in Darwin, but wish to marry in NQ.

Not only do I feel excited to be packing my bags to travel outside of my local area but humbled that I’ve been recognised for not only doing a great job but that the Wedding Ceremony has set the scene for my couples having the best day ever.

Travel anywhere and affordable.
