Some may consider Samford a quaint country town …….me, no way! I refer to it as a mini metropolis particularly during the weekend. There is no doubt Samford has many wonderful shops and cafes that attract visitors far and wide.
The scenic drive commences at Ferny Grove and the wonderful winding road through the ranges drops you off at the glorious Samford Valley.
From there, which way to go so many choices. Turn right at the round about to Samford or keep going up to Mt. Glorious and onto Scenic Rim or up to Mt. Nebo and drive through to The Gap.
But don’t keep driving through, stay with us at Samford and take a good look around. From a la carte dining, awesome cafes, a great pub, fabulous takeaways, picnic in the park or just sit and enjoy the ambience with a nice chilled beer or a great coffee.
Goodness I digress this is a wedding blog. But honestly I could go on and on and I will…..about wedding venues.
Let’s Plan A Country Wedding At Samford
So hi! I’m Debbie Payne, a local Samford marriage celebrant and I’ve conducted a wedding ceremony in many areas of Samford and surrounds.
Elopements at home, yes couples are welcome to marry at my gorgeous location or at their home. There is a fully catered restaurant with amazing ceremony views overlooking Lake Samsonvale, Jolly’s Lookout on the way to Mt. Nebo, Samsonvale Lakes and a few country halls all kitted out for a wedding. Did I mention the amazing views.
Perhaps a Rainforest Retreat is something you’re looking for, yes I can even recommend a few locations, complete with cabins.
Seal your love on the mountain, in the gorgeous Moreton Bay Hinterland region. You won’t be disappointed.
